Girl Guides

I never was a Girl Guide, Brownie or any of the others as a child. So with C wanting to join it has been my first real glimps of how the operation works. I can honestly say, I am very impressed! First of all the leaders are excellent the amout of time these women put into this is great! C's group is constantly doing different activities and trips, not only are they fun but educational. Yeah Guiding!

E's parent teacher meeting went better than planned, which makes me very happy, he is only in JK aka maternelle (it's a french school) but there have been some testing times over the last 6 months with him and I am glad to see that things are finally working themselves out!

Jessie the dog has not been up to anything too exciting lately, I am sure that she is just laying low after eating an entire large pizza off the table last saturday morning while I was grocery shopping.

This just happens to be my first post. What to talk about??

I have 2 cats Buffy & Daisy and a German Sheppard/Lab cross named Jessie, recently we took Jessie to a new groomer who suggested that Jessie needs more brushing at home and that www.furminator.com is the answer. I brushed the dog and then the cats for over an hour last night, tones of fun.

Tonight C my step daughter has girl guides and we have E (my son's) parent teacher meeting (always fun).

I am currently knitting steggie http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring09/PATTsteggie.php for E in size Medium, it's taken a while as I was on a knitting hiatus for a while but I am back at it now!

A la prochaine!
